The Gluten Free Food Awards 2026 are open for entry
After ten years as the FreeFrom Food Awards Ireland, we return reborn — with a sharper focus, a national stage and entries now open to producers across the island.
For more than a decade, the FreeFrom Food Awards Ireland celebrated the producers, retailers and chefs creating exceptional food for people with dietary needs. In 2026, we step into a new chapter as the Gluten Free Food Awards — a programme dedicated entirely to the food that matters most to the coeliac and gluten-intolerant community.
Entries for the 2026 awards are now open. Producers across the island of Ireland are invited to submit their products across more than forty categories, from everyday breads and bakery to ready meals, snacks and showstopping celebration cakes.
Every entry is judged blind by an independent panel of dietitians, chefs, food writers and consumers — scored on flavour, texture, appearance and overall enjoyment. Gold, Silver and Bronze winners will be revealed at the Gala Awards Night at Clontarf Castle on Friday 13th November.
Early Bird entry is open until Friday 14 August, with the final deadline on Friday 21 August. We can't wait to taste what Ireland's makers have been creating.
